Opening Prayer:

**Opening Hymn: Stand Up and Bless the Lord 21

** Invocation: I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations. For your steadfast love is as high as the heavens; your faithfulness extends to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens. Let your glory be over all the earth.

**Call to Worship: Psalm 76

M: In Judah God is known; His name is great in Israel. In Salem also is His tabernacle, and His dwelling place in Zion.

C: There He broke the arrows of the bow, the shield and sword of battle. Selah

M: You are more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey. The stouthearted were plundered; they have sunk into their sleep;

C: And none of the mighty men have found the use of their hands.

M: At Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse were cast into a dead sleep.

C: You, Yourself, are to be feared; and who may stand in Your presence when once You are angry?

M: You caused judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared and was still,

C: When God arose to judgment, to deliver all the oppressed of the earth. Selah

M: Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; with the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself.

C: Make vows to the Lord your God, and pay them;

M: let all who are around Him bring presents to Him who ought to be feared.

C: He shall cut off the spirit of princes; He is awesome to the kings of the earth.

Reading of the Law: Exodus 20:1-17

**Prayer of Confession: Almighty and most merciful Father; We have erred, and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against thy holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; And we have done those things which we ought not to have done; And there is no health in us. But thou, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare thou them, O God, which confess their faults. Restore thou them that are penitent; According to thy promises declared unto mankind in Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake; That we may hereafter live a godly, righteous and sober life. To the Glory of thy holy Name. Amen.
