Opening Prayer:

**Opening Hymn: Stand Up And Bless The Lord 21

** Invocation: I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations. For your steadfast love is as high as the heavens; your faithfulness extends to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens. Let your glory be over all the earth.

**Call to Worship: Psalm 46

M: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear,

C: even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

M: Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah

C: There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.

M: God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.

C: The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.

M: 7The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

C: Come, behold the works of the Lord, who has made desolations in the earth.

M: He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.

C: Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

M: The Lord of hosts is with us;

C: The God of Jacob is our refuge.

Reading of the Law: Exodus 20:1-17

**Prayer of Confession: Almighty and most merciful Father; We have erred, and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against thy holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; And we have done those things which we ought not to have done; And there is no health in us. But thou, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare thou them, O God, which confess their faults. Restore thou them that are penitent; According to thy promises declared unto mankind in Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake; That we may hereafter live a godly, righteous and sober life. To the Glory of thy holy Name. Amen.
